Due to two last minute cancellations due to ill health we suddenly have two available places. If you can zip up to Inverness this Saturday, come and join us for a wonderful relaxing week of craft.
Our Fleece to Felt week starts with Alex hand-shearing our Shetland sheep, we then sort and wash (scour) the fleece, pick dye plants, make our dyes and naturally dye the fleece, creating about 25 beautiful shades. The end of the week is spent making a stunning felted wall hanging using the naturally dyed fibers. There is also time to enjoy some of the areas stunning landscapes…we visit glen Affric, Plodda waterfalls and walk in woods here at Crochail looking out to Strathglass.
