Booking Terms and Conditions

1. Contract. The contract is between Wild Rose Escapes and the client (‘the client’ and ‘you’ in these conditions) being any person on or booked on a Wild Rose Escapes holiday.

2. To Secure a Booking.
We require a non-refundable deposit of £200 per person to secure a booking on our residential courses and £50 for our two day courses.

3. Balance Payment. The balance of all monies must be received by Wild Rose Escapes 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. We prefer you to pay the deposit and full amount by cheque or BACS.

4. Security of Prepayments. Prepayments are paid into a separate bank account and are not withdrawn until after the completion of your holiday.

5. If you cancel a booking. If you need to cancel your holiday you must inform us in writing. If your written cancellation is received less than 42 days before the departure date you will be charged for the holiday.

6. If we cancel your holiday. We reserve the right to cancel a holiday in any circumstances. A full refund will be made. However, we will not cancel a holiday if it is less than 6 weeks to the start date, except for reasons of force Majeure.

7. ‘Force Majeure’. We will not pay you compensation if we have to alter or cancel a holiday, accommodation or travel arrangements because of adverse weather conditions, government intervention, natural disasters, strikes, war, riots, flight/transport delays and all similar events out of our control.

8. If we change your holiday. We will always do our best to run all holidays as they are advertised on our website and in other literature, however, we reserve the right to change and correct errors in any of the facilities, services, prices or itineraries. (changes are usually minor)
The prices on our website and in other literature are correct at the time of publication. We reserve the right to change our holiday prices, before we enter into a contract with you.

9. If you have a complaint. If you have a complaint whilst on holiday, this should be brought to our attention immediately, giving us the opportunity to put things right. If your complaint can not be resolved on holiday please write to us with your complaint within 7 days.

10. Medical conditions. You must let us know if you suffer from any important or relevant medical conditions. These include vertigo and diabetes.

11. Client Responsibility. For safety reasons clients must agree to abide by the decisions of the group leader. If in our opinion your behavior, health or equipment is detrimental to the safety, enjoyment or welfare of the group or yourself, you may be excluded from all or part of the holiday without any right to a refund. If you undertake independent travel we are not responsible for your actions.

Bookings are accepted on the understanding that you appreciate and accept the possible risks inherent in a walking holiday (relevant to all holidays involving walking) and that you undertake our holidays at your own risk. We are not responsible for your actions. Clients together with their personnel property, including baggage are at all times solely at their own risk. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury occurred. You are responsible for arranging holiday insurance to cover cancellation, personal accident, illness, repatriation and loss of possessions.

12.Website/Advertising material accuracy.
The information on our website and in our advertising material is believed to be correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of publication. However, errors may occasionally occur and therefore subsequently information may change. You must therefore ensure you check all details of your chosen holiday (including price) with us at the time of booking.
